Pumpkin pie in minutes!

Traditional USA Pumpkin Pie

Today, pumpkin pie is one of the most famous foods we associate with the American fall, especially Halloween and Thanksgiving celebrations.🎃

HOW IS THE HISTORY?
The first versions of pumpkin pie date back to the colonial era in the 17th century. Pumpkin was a popular food back then because it was easy to grow in the New World and was nutritious. However, the first version of the cake was quite different from the one we know today. Colonists are said to have hollowed out a pumpkin, filled it with milk, honey, and spices, then baked it over a fire—a far cry from today's classic pie crust and pumpkin filling recipe.🍁
